Position Title: Pastor/Coordinator for Pastoral Care
Time: Approximately 12-15 Hours/Week
Do you have a depth of spirit and a deep commitment to your own spiritual formation and growth and to the spiritual formation of others? Are you a caring and compassionate leader? Are you gifted in supportive and spiritual care as well as techniques for nurturing these gifts in the laity? Would you like to be a collaborative and supportive member of the Pastoral and Congregational Care Teams in planning, implementing and following up on the needs of members and friends of our diverse community?
Princeton United Methodist Church (PUMC) seeks a Pastor for Pastoral Care to join our vibrant spiritual community and to become an integral part of our strong clergy team. The Pastor will coordinate Pastoral Care for the Congregation in collaboration with the other Pastoral Staff and the Coordinator of Congregational Care. The Pastor will develop, implement, and monitor Care Plans. The Pastor will provide pastoral care, making Eucharistic and care visits to home-bound and hospitalized members and friends as well as phone calls and follow up contacts. The Pastor will support and provide pastoral coaching to Stephen Ministers and small groups, as needed.
