Job Opening: Children and Family Ministries Director
Hours: Varied, as needed.
Salary: Salary $6,500 ($7,000 after six months upon successful review)
Responsibilities:
- Directs a volunteer staff in carrying out ministry functions
- Attends and participates in staff meetings
- Appoints and oversees a Young Adult volunteer coordinator
- Coordinates functions with other all other church/laity leaders
- Holds monthly planning meetings with the CFM team
- Works with and develops VBS coordinators
- Attend services and be a member in good standing
- Participates in the life of the church for personal spiritual growth
- Meets regularly with the Pastor and coordinates with the same
- Other duties assigned by the Pastor and the SPRC team
- Reports to the Pastor and the SPRC team
Qualifications:
- Experience directing a multifaceted organization or church ministry
- Ability to delegate tasks to appointed coordinators and to oversee the same
- Experience working with a diverse group of volunteers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to brings people and groups together
- Experience communicating in various forms of social media
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Be familiar with Grow groups, VBS, and other ministries
