Understanding Clergy Sexual Ethics
All clergy under appointment (including extension ministries), and those assigned (i.e. supply pastors, and approved certified lay ministers) are required to complete the training. This is an online, self-paced, and interactive course. GNJ annual conference legislation requires sexual ethics training. Your generous shared ministry giving has offset the cost of this course.
Steps:
- If you are clergy, click here to download the instructions to register using the clergy group discount code.
- If you are assigned laity (an assigned CLM or lay supply pastor), click here to download the instructions to register using the laity group discount code.
- Complete the training through the Lewis Center’s system.
- Save your certificate of course completion that will be emailed to you.
- Log into your Arena profile page and upload your certificate in the “Professional Ethics Uploads” section.
For assistance with registration through the Lewis Center or if you need another copy of your certificate of completion, please email Lewis Center Program Manager, Rev Craig Meek (cmeek@wesleyseminary.edu).
