Rev. Kap Soo Yoon is a retired pastor who served Kang Nam University from 2001 to 2013 as a Professor, Chaplain, and Dean of the Graduate School. He holds an M.Div from Methodist Theological University and a D.Min from Drew Theological School. After retirement, he served the Korean UMC of Bethlehem for a year in 2023. Rev. Yoon is married to his wife, YoungJa Yoon, and they have adult children and lovely grandchildren. He is passionate about preaching and mission work.

Hyun Woo Kim was born into a Methodist clergy household in South Korea. His missionary intern experience in New Zealand ignited his passion for theological education in the US. After completing his education at Yonsei (BA), Yale (STM), and Emory (MDiv & PhD), he became a scholarly-minded pastor. Commissioned as a provisional elder in 2021, Hyun Woo also serves as a postdoctoral fellow in Old Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary. His roles include hospital chaplain, pastoral intern, and theologian-in-residence. He is married to Dae Hee Ahn, a talented violinist, and they have two children, Jaden and Janelle.

Dr. A. Edward Maddison, DOC, has been in pastoral ministry for 40 years. He holds degress in Music Education, Divinity, Counseling, Clinical Christian Counseling, and Biblical Exposition. Dr. Maddison’s sermons for the last six years can be found on Spotify at “A Word for Our Hearts.”

DOC has served in many ministerial capacities. These include: Sr. Pastor, Youth Pastor, Christian Education Director, Music Director, Director of Christian Non-profit ministries, and Director of Church Growth. DOC has also served with Christian Endeavor for 42 years as a counselor, teacher, evangelist, Board Member, and Executive Director.

DOC has a small Christian Counseling practice in Cherry Hill and has been a chorister with Opera Philadelphia for 32 Seasons. Dr, Maddison is a retired professor of Psychology and will be retiring as a Public School teacher in September.

Finally, DOC and his wife Vicky live by a lake in Mullica Hill, NJ. They share 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Dr. Maddison and Vicky are privileged to serve wherever they are called and look forward to ministry in Ferrell and Bridgeton.

Carl entered ministry in 2013 after completing a Certified Lay Minister program. He was appointed to serve as a Supply Pastor at St. Paul’s UMC in New Gretna. He became a Local Pastor and continued to serve at New Gretna until he retired for medical reasons in 2018. He returned to ministry in 2022 to serve as part-time Retired Local Pastor at Weymouth UMC in Weymouth, outside Mays Landing. He resides in Pitman, NJ with his wife of 50 years, Alice. They have one daughter who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Dave Montanye was ordained an Elder in 1980.  He earned a BA at American University and a M. Div and D. Min. from Drew University.  He pastored churches in Garnerville, NY and Branchville, NJ.  In 1985, he was appointed Program Coordinator of United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) where he developed a life-long commitment to working with refugees.  In the 1990’s, he coordinated Refugee Ministries at the Virginia Council of Churches and later became the Domestic Resettlement Coordinator for Church World Service where he directed the annual resettlement of 5,000 refugees.  Since 2012 he served as pastor of First UMC of Avalon.

Isaac Minkah, hailing from Ghana, West Africa, is married with two boys. Currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity Program at Drew Theological School in Madison, New Jersey, he exhibits an unwavering passion for God’s work. He finds joy in sharing his faith in Christ with others, firmly believing in the Bible as the word of God. As a student-pastor, Isaac is eager to both learn and impart the love of God. He is characterized by a deep commitment to prayer, faith, and belief in miracles. Isaac’s penchant for uniting people and his fervent evangelism further highlight his devotion to spreading the message of Christianity.

Sue Hudler, a child of God and a Certified Lay Servant with Cedar Grove UMC in Toms River, NJ, identifies herself. Having been born and raised as a Lutheran, she discovered her true spiritual home at Cedar Grove a decade ago. Sue’s current journey involves aspiring to become a Certified Lay Minister, driven by her desire to serve God, the congregation of Cedar Grove, and the wider community.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, and retired RN, Sue has cultivated traits of care and empathy. She hopes to perpetuate these qualities in her service to all the people of God.

Ruby L. Thomas recalls at the age of 12, she was called to teach the word of God, which began with reading her bible to her siblings. Her calling is to teach the word of God in a relatable, visual, and personable way, as God imparts the word to her. Ruby and her husband are the parents of two adult daughters and grandmother (“Gigi”) to two granddaughters. She serves as a quarter-time Pastor at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Mt. Holly. While also serving at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Willingboro.

Rev. Temaris L. Moore, an ordained minister, bi-vocational leader, author, and devoted mother, has over two decades in ministry and twenty-three years teaching inner-city youth. Her career exemplifies significant church leadership, particularly in preaching, teaching, and developing programs, with a deep commitment to community engagement and spiritual education. Dr. Moore’s work in youth discipleship and church revitalization showcases her profound grasp of ministry dynamics. With a Doctor of Ministry, she masterfully combines scholarly insights with real-world experience, nurturing vibrant, faith-based communities. Her strategic acumen fosters congregational growth through innovative and inclusive methods, all while balancing her maternal responsibilities with professional dedication.

Rev. Adrian Deepak is an ordained minister with a decade of experience in the Church of South India. His areas of focus include Theology and Ethics, Pastoral Care & Counselling, and Music ministry. He has been happily married to Ashika George since 2018, and the couple has a two-and-a-half-year-old son, Ashyan Jae Manasseh. Adrian is an STM graduate from Drew University (2024), New Jersey. Prior to this, he obtained a Master of Theology in Christian Theology (2018) and a Bachelor of Divinity (2013) from Serampore University, India. He is known for creating inclusive faith communities through intergenerational programs and online worship initiatives. Adrian is a versatile musician and composer fluent in English, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi. He has a passion for theological research and interfaith dialogue. He is committed to serving and strengthening faith communities through pastoral ministry, education, and holistic engagement.

John Lore grew up in First UMC in Vineland, NJ.  While completing his degree at Glassboro State, he began his ministry as Pastor of Cumberland UMC.  Four years later John left to pursue graduate studies at Harvard University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. While attending Harvard he pastored two UMC churches.  For many years, John continued in ministry as a guest preacher at churches throughout the region.  The past 4+ years he has joyfully pastored Buckshutem and Port Norris UMC churches.  John loves serving God and His people, and feels blessed to be extending his ministry to Dorchester UMC.

Charlie Kinch was born and raised in Somers Point, New Jersey, where he grew up and served in the local United Methodist Church (Lifegate UMC) throughout his life.  Charlie has been a local pastor since 2017; previously serving at Malaga, Porchtown, and Magnolia UMC.  Charlie is currently serving at Westmont UMC and is exciting to add Emmanuel UMC to his appointment.

Aside from his pastoral calling, you may find Charlie staying active swimming, playing water polo, running, or going to the gym.  He also enjoys various types of art; including painting, music, photography, and going to museums.

Christiane Depestre was born in Haiti and raised in a methodist family deeply committed to ministry, and felt called to ministry during her teen years.

She received a Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School and is an ordained UMC elder, member of the Upper New York Conference. She is passionate about Pastoral Care and Counseling, preaching the Word of God, community engagement, and relational evangelism. Her motto is “The joy of the Lord is my strength”.

Rev. Depestre recently remarried Dr. Harry Paraison, MD, Executive Director of Perfil Latino TV, Inc. She is blessed with two adult sons, two grandsons and two bonus daughters.  She enjoys reading, singing, cooking and baking, traveling, swimming, and playing board games.

Tiffany S. Murphy moved from the Midwest in 1995 to the East Coast to pursue two Bachelors in music in Boston, and Mdiv, Dmin from Palmer Seminary. Her Dmin was focused on Social Justice and Social engagment in the local church which she feels are so important in these changing times.  In 2020, she was commissoined as a Provisional Elder. In her spare time, she loves caring for her dogs Bailey and Betty Jean her only children.  She believes that God wants us to be like the Good Samaritan, who was willing to move beyond culture, class, education to help someone in need.  She believes that we have been called by Jesus, “To go and do likewise”

Scott Maat answered the call to become a Local Pastor in 2011. Self-employed as a cabinet maker since the age of 16 he is married to his wife Diane of 38 years. Together they have three sons and three daughters by marriage, five grandchildren and two Australian Shepherds.

Scott has served the Buttzville Church since 2011 and graduated Course of Study from ALPS an extension school of Chandler in 2017. Scott’s passion is to point others to Jesus for salvation, and mission works. His hobbies include the Lafayette Fire Department; sailing, camping, entertaining and hanging out with kids and grandkids.

Dawn Cagle-Maffetone has been a Licensed Local Pastor at Rockaway Valley United Methodist Church since 2014 and also serves as a Chaplain at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital. Prior to her licensing, she was the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at Little Falls United Methodist Church. Dawn holds a certificate in Youth Ministry from the Institute for Youth Ministry at Princeton Theological Seminary and has completed three units of Clinical Pastoral Education. She is actively pursuing further education through the Course of Study at Wesley Theological Seminary. A committed community builder, Dawn enjoys her involvement with the Skylands Walk to Emmaus. In her leisure time, she loves visiting Great Adventure theme park, the beach, spending time with family and friends, and savoring cheesecake at various diners across New Jersey.

Samantha was born and raised in the vibrant city of Harare, in Zimbabwe. She is a 4^th generation Methodist who possesses a youthful spirit and a deep passion for ministry. Samantha has 6 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, where she advocates for the underrepresented young people from both rural and urban Zimbabwe to recognize their academic abilities and reach their full potential. She is currently continuing her advocacy work at United Women in Faith in New York City. Samantha is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from Midlands State University and is currently studying for MDiv at Drew Theological School. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys baking, reading, and watching sports.

Sam Sanggeun Jo was born and raised in South Korea. His ministry journey began at the English Ministry at Chungdong First Methodist Church in Seoul, founded by American missionary Henry Appenzeller. Since coming to the US in 2014, he has served at Monmouth Grace United Methodist Church in Eatontown (Youth Pastor), Union Grove United Methodist Church, and Willow Grove United Methodist Church (Lead Pastor). He is currently serving at Centenary UMC in Berlin (Lead Pastor).

He received a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Drew Theological School. Sam is passionate about spiritual growth through the Holy Spirit and living a Jesus-centered life daily.

He is married to Katie, who will graduate from Nursing school in May and is blessed with a baby girl, Sophia, who just turned 2. Sam enjoys spending time with his family. He also likes soccer and music, especially the piano, guitar, and drums.

John Gaskill is a life long Methodist who grew up in Cecil just outside of Williamstown, NJ where he attended First Methodist Church of Williamstown his home church.  Early on John played the piano for the adult Sunday School, was a Sr. High School MYF leader, served on SPRC and the evangelism committee among other committees at Williamstown.  In 2002 John bought a home in Ocean City and two days later met his wife Denise in Ocean City, they have one son John David.

John is a member of St. Peter’s Methodist Church in OC where he is the communion steward and serves on the SPRC.  John retired from the Winslow Township Board of Education as the director of transportation after 28 years of service and retired from teaching school transportation at Rutgers University after 18 years of service.   His life verse is Phillipians 1:21 For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Robin Walker grew up in Madison, New Jersey, and has lived in in North Carolina for the past 31 years. After a long and varied career, she earned a Master in Divinity from Duke Divinity School and has had the privilege of serving 5 wonderful churches with the North Carolina Conference. Robin is a lifelong learner with a passion to see the church be the church, as imperfect as that may continue to look. Newly married, she is returning to New Jersey to live with her beloved husband and is looking forward to the good things God has in store with the GNJ.

Sean Seunghyun Lee currently serves as the pastor at Cross Keys United Methodist Church in Williamstown and holds positions as a circuit elder and member of the DCOM in the Cape Atlantic district. He holds an M.Div from Drew Theological School and a B.A. from Methodist Theological University in Seoul, Korea. Sean is deeply passionate about equipping transformational leaders and fostering church growth. Drawing from his diverse ministry experiences and resources, he is committed to empowering individuals and communities to thrive spiritually and make a positive impact in their surroundings. Sean is blessed with a loving wife, Joohee, and two wonderful children, Eugenie and Luke.

Daniel Jimenez has been a lifelong United Methodist. His home church is Tenafly UMC. In Tenafly, he served as a church secretary/ assistant pastor, Ad Council Chair, Sunday School teacher, and Finance Secretary. In 2016, he became a Certified Lay Minister continuing ministry in Tenafly UMC.  For several years, he spent time with Lay Servant Ministries as a co-facilitator where he truly embraced his calling to serve beyond the local church. In 2018, he facilitated the Certified Lay Minister program. By 2019, he met First UMC Passaic to assist with their Dinner Church ministry. Later, he met Lyndhurst UMC and Rutherford UMC as Associate Pastor. He has been blessed to serve the local church for many years and looks forward to the journey ahead! He is passionate about community engagement, service, and programs that help the youth! In his free time, he enjoys teaching math at Union City High School in Union City, exploring new places, visiting family, cooking, and hiking.

My name is Dr. Anthony Kwame Mensah. I worship with Ghana Calvary United Methodist Church in Verona, New Jersey. Professionally, I work as a Healthcare Data Scientist.
I have occupied many positions within my local Church, including Church Council Secretary, Church Financial Secretary, Vice President for Men’s Fellowship, Chaplain for Men’s Fellowship, and the immediate past Lay Leader. I also serve in a pulpit supply capacity in some United Methodist Churches in New Jersey’s Meadowlands District. Currently, I am studying for a Master of Divinity at Drew University in New Jersey. I am married to Mrs. Philomina Mensah. We have two girls: Ms. Felicity Mensah, aged 34; Rev. Shirley Mensah, aged 30; and Andre-Spacecar Mensah, 8. We have a granddaughter, 4, named Dorinda.
PhD in Data Science, MBA in Finance, MSc in Data Science, and Bachelor’s in Business Economics.

Dr. Charlene Williams-Gungil is a lifelong Methodist. Growing up in the St. George’s Methodist Church on the island of Grenada, she has held many leadership and stewardship positions. Some of these include, President of the Youth Group, Secretary of the Women’s League, island representative to the District Youth Leadership Training (DYLTS) program and the Caribbean Women of the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas. Upon immigrating to the United States, Charlene has been a member of Varick AME Zion Church, in Hackensack, NJ and later transferred to United Methodist Church of Park Ridge, NJ. Dr. Williams-Gungil has continued to serve her church in various roles, currently as Lay Leader, Chair SPRC, and Communion Steward.

My name is Josiah Mono John, a native of Pero Land in Gombe state Nigeria. I was born in Filiya village, Gombe State, Nigeria. I am married to Christiana Zailani. My father is a retired United Methodist minister, and my desire is to be ordained too. After high school at the Baptist Academy Gombe, I earned a Bachelor of Divinity degree at Africa University, Zimbabwe. In 2022, I took the journey of coming to Drew Theological Seminary to pursue the M.Div. degree. My desire is to be ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church. Since growing up, seeing my father working in the church, I have loved working in the Church; I am passionate in spreading the message of hope and emancipation of the human mind, transmitting Biblical knowledge and providing church-related service in congregational settings to members of all generations.

Walter Francaviglia was raised on Long Island. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1973 after watching a Billy Graham crusade. Eager to learn about God, he worked in a church supply store on Long Island, then managed Calvary Baptist bookstore in Manhattan. During those years, he searched for a church where he could serve God. In 1993, he found a Methodist church where he became a certified lay speaker, studied to become a lay minister, taught the adult Sunday School and led the services in the Pastor’s absence. After moving to New Jersey in 2019, he and his wife started attending Trinity UMC, where he is a musician and leads the worship in the Pastor’s other charge church in his absence. His desire is to help Trinity grow and serve the community.

Sharon is called is to remind you that “You are loved!” and to make disciples of Jesus Christ baptizing in His name. Sharon’s call is a direct reflection of her personal spiritual journey that authenticates her witness to the promise of a new life in Christ. Sharon preaches responsible grace. Spiritual gifts bestowed upon Sharon by the Holy Spirit are faith, teaching/preaching and pastoral care. Sharon is currently appointed at Drakestown and Chaplain in hospice.  She was previously pastor of congregational care at Trinity, Hackettstown, Free Union and Vienna churches.

Andrew’s journey began in Mount Holly, where he found his roots at the First United Methodist Church. Now on the brink of graduating from Drew Theological School with a Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry, he’s poised to make a meaningful impact. Currently, Andrew serves as the Family Ministry Pastor at St. Andrew’s UMC in Cherry Hill, where his dedication to teaching children and youth shines through.
Passionate about social justice, allyship, and fostering diversity and inclusion, Andrew is a tireless advocate for change. His commitment extends beyond the local church; Andrew works full-time for Comcast as a dispatcher, marking a decade of service with the company this July.
Nestled in Pitman, NJ, Andrew, his wife Sarah, and their lovable Goldendoodle, Dug, find joy in exploring the world together. With a shared love for travel and a special affinity for all things Disney, they frequent the Orlando area several times a year, adding magic to their adventures.

Pastor Blessings Magomero, known simply as “Blessings,” hails from Malawi, Africa. He is happily married to Jeany Magomero, and they are blessed with three children: Gift, Gracious “Robert,” and Peace. Blessings earned his B.A. in Theology from United Theological College and another in Religious Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. From 1994 to 2004, Blessings served as a church planter in Malawi where he established 14 local churches. He then pursued his M.Div upon moving to the United States in 2004, followed by a D.Min in 2011. He has pastored Roselle UMC (2005 to 2012) and a two-point charge with Irvington UMC (2009 to 2012), during which both congregations experienced growth. At Salem UMC since 2012, Blessings developed a vibrant youth ministry, active in the Ignite program until the onset of Covid-19. Blessings’ spiritual gifts include lay empowerment, youth and children ministry, visitation, spiritual counseling, conflict resolution, preaching, teaching, bereavement counseling, and crafting transformative worship experiences. His overarching goal is to build bridges of unity and foster justice within his ministry, striving to transform lives and promote a collective pursuit of being disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The Rev. Lyssette N. Pérez in an ordained Elder of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference and has been in ministry for over 30 years.  Effective, July 1, 2024, she will be appointed to Oasis United Methodist Church and Salem United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, New Jersey.  She is currently appointed to serve at Oasis United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, NJ, a bilingual Hispanic/Latino congregation in an urban and diverse setting.  Prior to this appointment, she served at the UMC of the Rockaways, a multicultural and reconciling church in Rockaway, NJ; and Asbury UMC in Camden, NJ, an African and Hispanic/Latino congregation in an urban setting. She also worked for 3 years as the Director of Connectional Ministries (Ministries Team Coordinator) of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference and served as a staff for 6 years on the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM), in the Latin American and the Caribbean office and she was the Manager of the Honduras UMC Mission.  Rev. Pérez also served as a pastor at Christ UMC in Lakewood NJ, an urban context with a predominantly Orthodox Jewish community and Lafayette UMC in Jersey City, NJ providing pastoral guidance to a congregation in an inner-city context

Rev. Dr. Linda A. Ross was raised in the suburbs of Chicago.  She attended the University of Illinois for her BA in Music Education.  Rev. Ross was called into the ministry in 1999, entered Drew Theological School and obtained a MDIV degree in 2003 and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling in 2010.  Linda served six years at Saint Mark UMC in Hamilton Square and 14 years at First UMC of Mays Landing. Believing that “every day is an adventure,” Linda plans embrace the adventures that God presents. And … she is a die-hard Cubs fan!

I have served congregations in the Baltimore/Washington Conference and the Upper New York area. I am newly married; my wife and I have three children. I love music, community outreach, and leading Bible Study. I served in the US Navy as a Corpsman. Praying with those facing health challenges is a privilege that’s important to me. I am grateful for my appointment to New Hope UMC and look forward with joy to all that God is going to do through us, and in us.

The Rev. John Wesley Coleman, Jr., a lifelong United Methodist, is a Licensed Local Pastor in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. He was the quarter-time pastor of Servants of Christ UMC in Philadelphia for five years, 2018-2023.

Born in Philadelphia but well-traveled, John comes from four generations of Methodist clergy. He has served in communications for the denomination for over three decades. His full-time work as editorial manager on the affiliated Eastern PA and Greater New Jersey Communications team will end with retirement in 2024. John is passionate about promoting ministries that manifest the spiritual and social witness of the people called Methodist.

Kristen Raine is a gifted teacher, administrator, preacher and leader who has been on staff in various roles at Sharptown Church since 2008. She graduates with an M.Div from Wesley Biblical Seminary this May. Kristen fully believes that by the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians can fully live Christ-honoring, Christ-like, and Christ-advertising lives. She is passionate about small groups, outreach and missions and works enthusiastically with all ages.  She is an intentional team builder who is committed to helping folks recognize and use their God given talents to expand the Kingdom.

She resides in Pennsville with her husband, RJ, who continues to be supportive and involved in ministry.  She and RJ have amazing young adult children, Joey (and his wife Becca), Noah (and his fiance, Kaila), David and Gracie. When she has down time, Kristen loves to be near water, in a pool or on the beach.  She and RJ love to host picnics and get togethers at the home that God has blessed them with.

JunGyu Park was born and raised in South Korea. He holds a B.Th. from Methodist Theological University in Seoul and is currently pursuing an M.Div. from Drew Theological School. Since 2021, he has been serving as a student intern and youth pastor at Wesley UMC in Edison. He is passionate about sharing the love of God and building a community where everyone feels they belong. In his free time, he enjoys playing the bass and acoustic guitar, skiing, and hiking. He also loves making drip coffee and uses his media skills to help people connect with God.

Doreen Mihlanda

Doreen grew up in Zimbabwe at Mutambara Mission, a United Methodist Affiliated Institution which is deeply rooted in faith and education.  She is a devout member of the United Methodist Church. With a degree in Marketing Management from Midlands State University, she followed her calling to pursue a Master of Divinity at Drew Theological School and is now in her third year. Doreen serves as a student pastor at Morrow Memorial UMC in Maplewood, NJ, where she is gaining practical experience through internship. She also spent over a decade in youth fellowship leadership, from local to Annual Conference levels back in Zimbabwe.

Chantel Makawara

Chantel Makarawa, a passionate M.Div student at Drew University, embodies resilience, dedication, and inclusivity. Her educational journey spans continents, holding an MSc in Human Resources Management and Development from the University of Salford, UK, and a BSc in Psychology (Honors) from Africa University, Zimbabwe. She faces challenges of stuttering due to a speech disability yet excels in communication and interpersonal skills. Chantel’s faith in the United Methodist Church leads her towards ministry, drawing inspiration from her upbringing.She is committed to diverse communities and finds joy in cooking and worshiping through music.

Rev. Ivan P. Alberts, B.A., B.D., B.L.I.Sc., M.Th., Th.M. CPE (four units), is originally from India and is an ordained presbyter of the Church of South India. He has served as an elder in the New England Annual Conference and the Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference. For the past 12 years he has been serving in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference. He has a Bachelor’s of Divinity and a Master of Theology degree from the Serampore University in India and a Master of Theology degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has more than 30 years of pastoral experience both in India and the United States. He has been married to his wife for 30 years and has two grown-up sons and one granddaughter. Rev. Dr. Lisa D. Robinson, a native of New Jersey, and an M.Div graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, dedicates her life to bringing a global message of faith, hope, justice, and love to those seeking a closer relationship with God.  Raised in a loving family, she firmly believes that only what she does for Christ will last. Dr. Robinson has shared the Word of God in the US, as well as in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. The proud mother of one adult daughter, Laci, Dr. Robinson lives by the motto—”Keep the faith, and the blessings will follow!”

Vicki Brendler

Rev. Dr. Vicki Miller Brendler is a retired Elder currently residing at Swartswood Lake in Stillwater, NJ and worshiping at the Branchville UMC.  During her 40 years in ministry, she faithfully served local churches in rural, urban, and suburban settings and was also a District Superintendent (1996-2004).  While she served as a DS, her pastoral and administrative leadership nurtured and empowered many pastors, laity, and churches. She is also a trained Intentional Interim pastor. Vicki is married to Larry Brendler and they have four grown daughters and seven grandchildren.  In retirement, she enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, playing games on her iPad, and spending time with family and friends.

Monica Mafarachisi

Monica Kudakwashe Mafarachisi, was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is currently a Masters of Divinity Student at Drew Theological School in her third year. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Rhodes University in South Africa. Monica was born and raised in the United Methodist Church. With over five years of experience in the finance and auditing field, Monica has developed a great deal of administrative skills and pays attention to detail.  Monica is the last child from a family of three. Monica enjoys the outdoors, meeting new people, and listening to music.

Gerald is a Licensed Local Pastor serving the Delaware Bay District and is also a part-time Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice. Gerald earned his MA Counseling from Montclair State University is currently attending Drew University School of Theology working toward his Master of Divinity Degree. Gerald previously served as pastor of New Hope UMC-Millville. Gerald lives with compassion for all children of God and enjoys meeting people exactly where they are in life and sharing the Gospel according to the needs of individuals and  groups, especially the underprivileged. Gerald loves the outdoors and spending time in nature. Gerald and his wife Nancy will reside at the Deerfield UMC parsonage with their two sons Matthew and Nicholas and their family dog Roscoe.

Eun Ok Cha earned her Bachelor’s and M.A. degrees from Hyupsung University Theological School in South Korea and completed the M.Div. and S.T.M at Drew Theological School in 2010. She has over 23 years of experiences in various ministries from South Korea and the USA, and she currently serves at Waldwick UMC in Waldwick, NJ.
She has a strong passion for making disciples of Jesus Christ and for delivering God’s word, demonstrating God’s love and grace to all people. Her husband, Daniel Lim, is a professional Table Tennis Coach and player, and they have two children, Jacob (age 13) and Irene (11).

Emad Gerges is an ordained Elder – Full connection in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference since 2022. His journey to ministry spans the globe, from Egypt to England, France, Canada, India, Israel, Kuwait, and beyond, enriching his perspective and fueling his passion for diverse outreach. Establishing an Arabic-speaking ministry at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bayonne, New Jersey, Emad has grown the congregation into the only one of its kind in the US, welcoming worshippers from across the states like New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas, California, and more. Emad’s diverse educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Arts in Ministry. He serves as a full-time Elder for both English and Arabic-speaking congregations, supported by his wife Marianne and their two children, David and Joy.

Rev. Dr. Isabel R. Quezada has been an Ordained Minister since 2011. Although Rev. Dr. Isabel R. Quezada once felt a strong pull towards her medical career while living in the Dominican Republic, it became clear that the Lord had a grander plan for her life. She felt the calling from the Lord and decided to pursue her degree. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Divinity from Drew University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her appointments have included Asbury United Methodist Church, and “El Mesias” United Methodist Church.  Rev. Quezada is very passionate about Multicultural Ministry. When Rev. Dr. Quezada is not ministering, she can often be found trying out new recipes on her family members.  Isabel is a loving wife, of 40 years to Rev. Dr. Federico Quezada. She is also a mother to four “babies”: Gabriel, Esther, Jonathan, and Soraya.  She also enjoys traveling and reading! Rev. Dr. Quezada is so excited to continue spreading the word of the Lord and expanding the Kingdom of God.

Bob Strauss felt called to ministry in high school. After graduating from Moravian College and Seminary, he has served four churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference: First UMC in Stroudsburg, Salem UMC in Shoemakersville, Christ UMC in Fairless Hills and Jarrettown UMC. Bob loves to see how God works in people’s lives and strives to make Jesus known in the communities he serves. He currently serves as an Assisting Elder in the East District of EPA and as Chair of the Board of Church Location and Building. Bob and his wife, Laurie, have two grown children and five grandchildren, who keep them young. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and meeting new people.

SandraLee Stenstrom is a second career pastor, leaving healthcare after 30 years as a Registered Nurse to answer God’s call to ministry. She is certified as a Christian Life Coach, achieved a BA in Christian Counseling from Somerset Christian College before studying at Drew University and receiving her MDiv. Sandy is passionate about reaching the unchurched and working towards full inclusion in the UMC embracing God’s truth that nothing can separate us from God’s love. She believes that there are many ways to experience the holy and strives to incorporate creativity in the worship experience to communicate and share the Good News. In her spare time, Sandy enjoys ocean walks, creative arts and spending time with her family.

Yohan Baik has been dedicated to serving GNJ since 2000, sharing his talents across different churches such as Calvary Korean church, North Hunterdon Church, The Church of the Master, and Bethany Korean Church in the Fort Lee campus. Presently, he serves as a staff member of the Data & Strategic Analysis Team in the MRC. Additionally, Yohan will continue his compassionate leadership as the coordinating pastor for the Meadowlands Circuit of churches. Yohan is happily married to his wife Sonny and is blessed with a daughter and a son.

Chungmi Kang, born and raised in South Korea, serves as an education pastor overseeing the PreK-K ministry and participating as a volunteer speaker in the English Ministry at Calvary Korean United Methodist Church. She holds an M.A. in Christian Ethics and an M.Div. from Drew Theological School, as well as an M.A. in Systematic Theology, M.Div., and B.A. degrees from Hyupsung Theological Seminary in Korea. She is passionate about sharing God’s love and administering the sacraments. Chungmi’s journey in serving the Lord involves addressing suffering and promoting justice both within and outside the church. She finds joy in listening to people’s stories and empowering them, while also desiring to witness God’s work through her ministry and in people’s lives. Chungmi is married to Munseok Jeong, an associate pastor at Calvary KUMC, and they are blessed with two children, Eliana (Hayeon, 12) and Elisha (Yeyeon, 5). In her personal time, she enjoys playing the guitar and piano, reading books, playing the 4 in a Row game with her children, and watching movies and K-pop shows.

Robert “Rob” Long serves the Greater NJ Conference as a licensed Local Pastor.  A lifelong United Methodist, Rob lives in Sea Bright with his wife, Dina, and their son, Samuel.  It was in Sea Bright that Rob had his first pastoral assignment from 2002-2010.  In the years after serving in Sea Bright Rob practiced what he refers to as avocational ministry, but was thrilled to return to active pastoring in December 2023.  Rob has a diverse background academically and vocationally, with an MBA from Columbia, an M.Div., from Drew Theological, along with work in the public, non-profit and private sectors.

Pyoungkang Kim, a sixth-generation Methodist, has long aspired to become a UMC pastor. For the past decade, his ministry focus has been on education and pastoral care. Upon moving to the US in 2021 to pursue studies at Drew University, he joined the UMC and is currently a third-year M.Div student, specializing in United Methodist Ministry. In South Korea, he earned his Bachelor of Theology from Methodist Theological University and Master of Theology from Yonsei University. His passion lies in building a faith community in which members live out Jesus’s teachings and reach out to the poor and those in need. He lives in Madison, NJ, with his wife, Yeosun Lee, who is also a seminarian at Drew, and two daughters, Hari, 6 years-old, and Leina Kim, a six-month-old.

Bo Hwan Wang was born in South Korea and moved to America when he was ten years old. He lived in Maryland for sixteen years until he moved to New Jersey with his wife, Hanna, in 2018. Bo received his BM in Guitar from Peabody Conservatory of Music and MDiv from Wesley Theological Seminary. Currently, Bo is a DMD candidate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. As a pastor, Bo hopes to use dentistry as a tool to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, share God’s love, and serve the neighbors in need. Bo enjoys spending time with his wife Hanna, 7-month-old daughter Rose, and furry friend Ollie.

Born and raised in a Hindu family, Rajkumar accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior through one of the pioneering missionaries in India in early 1988. He began his Church planting ministry in Bangalore India on an Evangelistic Team. Rajkumar earned his B.Th in 1996, M.Div in 2011, and one unit of clinical pastoral education in 2015. Additionally, he also completed a few required courses for BOM at Drew University. He officially started his International Ministry at Trinity United Methodist Church in Jersey City in November of 2019.  His wife’s name is Sarojini, and they have two children, Ricky and Jessie. They are currently praying for the smooth processing of their immigration papers. Reaching out to diverse communities is his passion. Despite the unprecedented pandemic situation, he is so grateful to the Lord for sustaining Trinity United Methodist Church. In his free time, he loves meeting new people on the streets, parks, buses, and other public places.

Jon is a 5^th generation United Methodist. He was born and raised in Baltimore City and attended Boundary United Methodist Church as a youth. He moved to South Jersey as a young man and worked in the commercial construction industry. Jon retired as a project manager in 2011 in order to focus his time and energy on giving back. He has been an active member for over 30 years at the First United Methodist Church in Mays Landing as a Trustee and as a Certified Lay Servant. He currently serves as the chairperson of the Cape Atlantic District Board on Church Location and Building. Jon enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Jon has been sharing the message as guest pastor at several South Jersey churches as needed for the last 3 years. He is a passionate preacher and loves sharing the Word along with Biblical history in his messages. He thrives on service, helping others and caregiving. His calling to ministry and becoming a local pastor came through his work with Future with Hope and his participation with The Walk to Emmaus.

Jay Brown became a Certified Lay Minister in 2008 after serving the GNJ Annual Conference as its Co-Lay Leader for eight years. He was a delegate to General and Jurisdictional Conferences from 2000 to 2016 and the conference coordinator of the CLM program from its inception until 2017. While serving as the AC Co-Lay Leader he was the recipient of the “Harry Denman Award”. The award honors United Methodists in each annual conference whose ministry of evangelism brings people into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Jay served the General Conference on the General Board of Global Ministries, the Standing Committee for Central Conference Matters and the GCFA, Committee on Policies, Practices and Procedures. He has traveled the globe worshiping and preaching at UM churches in Africa, Hungary, India, Mozambique, and Vietnam. He is presently serving at Wesley UMC also located in West Berlin, NJ.

Jay’s favorite pastime and passion is travel. He has been to the Holy Land on numerous occasions, the pilgrimage to Taizé France and he has also walked the last 100 miles of the Camino de Santiago in Spain better known as “The Way of St. James.” Jay is humbled by the opportunity God has given him to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Jay’s favorite scriptures are Ephesians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and Luke 22:42, “Not my will but thy will be done.” His favorite hymn from attending a Billy Graham Revival in New York City at age 8, is “Just As I Am”.

Ginnie Keiser began her journey as a volunteer secretary for Pinelands UMC. Ginnie became the Senior High Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader. It was during her work at Pinelands that she was called to ministry as a licensed local pastor. Ginnie took an early retirement from her 23-year career at Verizon to attend Licensing school and was appointed to North Wildwood UMC in 2009 where she served for 10 1/2 years. She attended Wesley COS. She loves sharing God’s Word with a vision of living the Word every day. She and Frank have three married sons and 12 grandchildren.

Jeanette M. Block is a retired Elder as of 2021.  She has served several churches in the GNJAC as well as conference and district committees and is a trained leadership coach. Jeanette is also an officer and active member in the Order of Saint Luke.  She has also been actively involved in the communities to which she has been appointed.  She has a BA from Rutgers-Camden, and an M.Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary.  Rev. Block’s first appointment was in 2000 as the assistant pastor to the Pinelands Charge and she retired from Cape May UMC.  Jeanette is married to Ronald and has 3 grown children and five grandchildren.

Janice Lynn has led four congregations over her 23 year of ministry, in Wantage, Highland Park, Sparta and Maplewood. She has served as a clergy and candidacy mentor, a circuit elder, and has served on many committees including CFA, DCOM and BOOM. She has created meaningful spaces of contemplative worship and theological dialogue, led many young people to their confirmation, and has most recently aided the development of a powerful Journey of Hope plan that included diversifying staff, traveling with 11 youth and chaperones on a Civil Rights pilgrimage and beginning the conversation on Reparations. She is a passionate preacher who is focused on bringing the gospel to life and embracing new ways of understanding God’s work in the world. She looks forward to returning to the rich diversity of Middlesex County and embracing the people of Christ UMC.

Sunghyuk Kim is a third-generation Methodist pastor with a deep and committed faith in Jesus Christ. He holds an M.Div. from Drew Theological School and a B.Th. from Methodist Theological University in Seoul. He began his ministry journey in Greater New Jersey at Arcola Korean UMC (Assistant Pastor), then transitioned to Wesley UMC Edison (Lead Pastor), and currently serves at Trinity Mullica Hill (Associate Pastor). Connectionally, he serves on the GNJ Board of Pension as the recording secretary. Sunghyuk is married to his wife Joy, with whom he shares a mutual love for music, singing, and serving God’s church as partners. His passion lies in care ministry, with a focus on reaching out to the community, preaching, teaching, and envisioning transformation.

Keith Roller spent the first 30 years of his professional life as a trial attorney before beginning his career as a Licensed Local Pastor in 2017. He received his B.A. from Drew University in 1984 and his J.D. from Rutgers in 1987. He has served the Lifegate Church in Somers Point, Leesburg and Delmont churches in Cumberland County and is currently serving and will continue to serve Zion UMC in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. He is married with two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys RV’ing with his wife Bonnie, music, and following professional sports. He is a passionate preacher and teacher who thrives on deepening the faith of others and serving the spiritual and physical needs of the communities he serves.

Jean Park is a dedicated United Methodist with a diverse background in ministry and a passion for sharing and teaching God’s Word. She is currently in her second year of the MDiv program at Drew Theological School. Her journey in ministry began with a personal encounter with God in 8th grade, leading to a life focused on serving God through pastoral ministry. Jean’s experiences include campus ministry, teaching, and leading Bible studies. Married to a UMC pastor and with two sons in college, she is confident in her calling to be a pastor and believes that God is pleased with her pastoral journey. Her background in mathematics and teaching, along with her various ministry roles, has prepared her for a fulfilling pastoral ministry. Jean looks forward to continuing to serve God’s people and is honored to embark on this pastoral journey.

Emmanuel currently serves at Browns Mills UMC and has also served the multicultural congregation of Monmouth Grace UMC. He earned his Master of Theology from Yonsei University and his M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary. Emmanuel has served as a missionary pastor in various churches in Ghana and South Korea. His ministry vision is to be a faithful witness in multicultural faith communities. Emmanuel enjoys vision casting and innovation in ministry. Additionally, he serves as an Instructor with the Leadership School of Ministry and Mission in New Jersey. Emmanuel is blessed to be married to Sun, who is a faculty member at the City Seminary of New York. They both share a love for traveling.

Kwonjae Lee is a pastor, leader, and father that embodies compassion and Christian leadership. He has a passion for working with children and possesses extensive experience in Sunday School, Youth Group, and Young Adults Ministry settings. He earned his degree from Methodist Theological University in Korea and later obtained a Master of Divinity from Nyack ATS in New York. He was ordained as an elder in 2021. With over 25 years of service to God, pastoral care remains a cornerstone of his ministry. He firmly believes in the importance of Christians loving God wholeheartedly, caring for one another, and extending love to the poor and strangers. Kwonjae is married to Hayeon, and together they have a daughter named Emma. As a family, their desire is to lead a life of praise and worship to God.

Karen Murray has been a Licensed Local Pastor since 2019, at which time she was appointed to Masonville-Rancocas United Methodist Church in Mt. Laurel, NJ. In 2021, she took on a second appointment at Lumberton United Methodist Church. Prior to becoming a Local Pastor, Karen served at First United Methodist Church in Moorestown, NJ, as a Youth Director and Director of Christian Education. Karen’s journey in serving the Lord began during her teenage years when she volunteered in the church nursery. She eagerly anticipates serving wherever the Lord calls her next. Karen has been married to her husband, Bob, for over 38 years. They have one adult child who is married and two beautiful grandchildren, Olivia (7) and Ben (3 ½). In her leisure time, she enjoys working out, reading, listening to music, and reminding people of how much God loves them.

Emily Anotida Muparutsa was born and raised in Mutare, the third largest city in Zimbabwe situated in the foothills of the Eastern Highlands. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Drew Theological School. Emily holds an Honors Degree in Sociology, along with Executive Certificates in Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Management and Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Zimbabwe. With five years of experience in the Customer Service and Sales Departments, she has developed skills in patience and maintains a “people-first” attitude. Her goal is to work with all people to promote human transformation, seek justice, and bear witness to the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Emily is a nature lover and enjoys going to the gym.

Juliann Henry was ordained an elder in 2007. Prior to God’s call she worked as a Stage Wardrobe Technician. Her home church, Mays Landing UMC, sent her forth as a Student Local Pastor in 1993. Juliann graduated from Palmer Seminary with an MDIV in 2002. She completed 4 units of CPE. She is an ICISF approved CISM trainer. She’s served Weymouth, Absecon, Leesburg and Delmont UMC’s. In extension ministry she served for 10 years at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital and12 years at AtlantiCare.
Juliann has 3 adult children, 3 grandchildren, and 4 rescue pups (at home) who she loves unconditionally.

Skitch is a native Californian with interests in young adult ministry, the connections between spirituality and art, hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, and the great outdoors. Receiving an M.Div. from Princeton Seminary and ordained an Elder in 2022 he loves meeting with folks from all walks of life, especially over coffee or tea, to learn how God is working in their life and where God may be inviting them to participate in God’s reign on earth. Skitch is engaged to Olivia, a committed Presbyterian who thinks that Methodists aren’t half bad and who loves books, dogs, and being a public defender.

Rutendo Felistas Mahachi, born and raised in Zimbabwe, is a Lay Supply Pastor at Green Village UMC. She also serves as a Chaplain for the Green Village (NJ) Fire Department and a Contingent Chaplain at the Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. She earned a Master of Divinity in Social Justice Advocacy from Drew Theological School and an honors degree in Peace and Governance from Bindura University of Science Education in Zimbabwe. Her passion for community outreach and social justice led her to Fiji in 2018 as a Global Mission Fellow for the General Board of Global Ministries. She served there as a Gender Justice Advocate assigned to an Anglican Church organization known as the House of Sarah. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, spending time with friends and family and watching movies.

Pastor Hyoik Kim has devoted his life to God in worship and desires to be used to motivate, inspire, and arouse the Body of Christ to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. He earned a B.A. in Theology and a B.M. in Church Music from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He moved to the United States and continued his journey in church music as he received a Master of Music in Music Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Then, he had the call to pastoral ministry, received an M.Div. from Drew Theological Seminary, and was ordained as an elder in 2011. Since then, he has been proud to be a Methodist minister, visioning a heart-warming ministry. He plays piano and guitar and loves to play golf and tennis. He has been married to Ruthie (Hyunsook), celebrating their 25th anniversary. They are blessed by their two children, Grace and Wesley, whom he always thinks their names are the perfect names for a Methodist pastor’s kids.

Michael Smith grew up in South Jersey and is currently serving as the Lead Pastor of Trinity UMC in Mullica Hill, NJ. His previous appointments were as the Superintendent of Congregational and Community Vitality in the Mountain Sky Conference, Clinton UMC, Tabernacle UMC (Erma, NJ) and as associate pastor of Saint Peter’s UMC (Ocean City, NJ). Michael is married with three children (13, 11, and 9). He enjoys using creativity and innovation to increase vitality in the congregations he serves. He loves spending time with his family, music, movies, and all of the Philadelphia sports teams – particularly the Eagles.

Rev. Dr. Jisun Kwak brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her ministry. With a Ph.D. in Religion and Psychology from Drew University, she has dedicated many years to serving in various roles within the church, including as a pastor at various settings of churches of the United Methodist Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church, district superintendent of two districts, and as a pastoral counselor and adjunct professor. Pastor Jisun’s deep expertise and heartfelt commitment to spirituality have consistently fostered deeper relationships with God for both her and the congregations she has served, guided by her open and progressive theology. Her teaching experiences at New Brunswick Theological Seminary and Blanton-Peale Institute have further enriched her ability to nurture these connections. She loves music, hiking, chocolate, and watching K-dramas.

Rev. Robyn Clark is a Local Licensed Clergy since 2021. Prior to ministry I worked as a teacher for many years. I received my calling to ministry while attending Beverly UMC. The Walk to Emmaus movement was instrumental to hearing and nurturing my call to ministry. In 2015 I graduated from Rutger’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Studies. Currently I am in the Course of Study through GBHEM seeking a master’s degree in divinity. For the past 3 years I have been serving the Atco & Trinity United Methodist Churches in Atco NJ. My favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 which is a daily reminder that “All things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”. I am most passionate about preaching God’s word, youth & young adult ministry, and leading congregations into the community in service. Most of all I am called to Love God with my whole being, and Love people the way God loves me! I am married to my husband, Danny for 17 years who is also a pastor. We love serving in ministry together. We have no children of our own, just lots of nieces and nephews and of course furry friends that we love very much. When I am not pastoring you will find me playing the piano, attending to tedious amounts of crafting, and spending time with my family & friends.

Glenn Scheyhing has actively served both church and community for most of his adult life. Soon after becoming a Christian at 23, Glenn used his new faith on the foreign mission field. After 13 years, he attended seminary and, upon graduation, began what is now 20 years of pastoral ministry, serving four appointments in four districts of GNJ. Glenn has served as both Fire and Police Chaplain as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Glenn especially enjoys life with his wife of 26 years and college-bound daughter. He has a love for God’s Word and God’s People.

Thomas Novack has been serving as a United Methodist pastor since 2010.  He is currently serving a two Charge at Dorchester UMC and Belleplain UMC.  He graduated Course of Study in Dayton Ohio in 2017.  Tom and his wife Denise have been married 32 years.  They have two children Daniel and Tori and both are very involved in the UMC.  They also have a grandson Levi who just turned 2 and they are expecting another grandchild in July.  Tom enjoys God’s creation while fishing and camping.

Myung Sun Han, a dedicated follower of Jesus, believes deeply in the transformative power of Grace. Raised in South Korea within a Methodist pastor’s family, Pastor Myung ventured to the United States for advanced theological studies, attending institutions like Drew and Fordham. His ministry, characterized by service to a wide array of congregations—both in geographical and cultural terms—has taken him from South Korea to New Jersey, covering roles from Sunday School Director to Senior Pastor. His service extends across Korean/Korean-American and multi-ethnic church communities. Currently, Pastor Myung ministers at the United Methodist Church in Demarest. He shares his life with Eunkyung “Grace” Woo, his wife of 25 years, who is the Music Director at Katonah Presbyterian Church, NY. Together, they are the proud parents of two sons, Jason Sungjin (17) and Chris Woojin (14).

Dianna Stone has served as senior pastor of the Whitehouse UMC, Whitehouse, senior pastor of the Boonton UMC, Boonton and as a Hospice Chaplain at Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. She received her M.Div. from Drew Theological School and a B.A. in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University. She currently serves as a Local Pastor Licensing School Facilitator through the GNJAC. Dianna has a passion for making the Scriptures applicable to real life, fostering discipleship, and strengthening congregational and community relationships. Dianna is married to her husband and partner in ministry, Tim. They have 6 children, 12 grandchildren (one on the way), and the best dog, Kodi.

Pastor Sam was born and raised in NYC. He felt God tug at his heart to be in pastoral ministry during a mission trip in Mexico. He received an M.Div from Drew and a D.Min from Wesley while serving churches in NY, MD, NJ, most recently at Delran UMC. He has a heart for preaching, teaching, the local church, and missions; and he loves to see disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus. He and his wife, Grace, are blessed with two wonderful children. He fights his sweet tooth by going to the gym, but some days the sweet tooth still wins.

Mike Chapman is originally from Shamokin, PA, and happily found his way to South Jersey with his college sweetheart, Jackie. In 2002, Mike and Jackie answered the Lord’s call to full-time ministry after graduating from Eastern University. Mike received a Bachelor’s in Youth Ministry and a Minor in Communications (2002) and a Master of Divinity from Palmer Seminary (2012). Mike has served and ministered at Aldine UMC for 19 years in various pastoral roles, and a two-point charge at Dennisville-Tuckahoe UMC for three years as a senior pastor. He is a dedicated minister to a multigenerational community, within the congregation and outside the walls of the church. He is passionate about Jesus, the forgotten, the lonely, the lost, the hurting, outcasts, and empowering the body of Christ. He plays the guitar, drums, loves singing, writing music, and uses those gifts and abilities for ministry. Mike also loves an abundance of coffee! His wife, Jackie, also graduated from Eastern University, studying Social Work and youth ministry, and is certified in Special Education. Mike and Jackie are thankful parents of two miracles; Micah (18) and Grace (6).

Jessica Campbell is in her twentieth year of ministry in GNJ. She has served Round Valley UMC in Lebanon, Thiells UMC, Franklin Lakes UMC, Hamilton UMC in Neptune, and First Methodist Church of Moorestown. Jessica serves the conference as a Circuit Elder, a member of the Board of Ordained Ministry, and on several Ecumenical boards. She is passionate about creative worship, loving all of God’s people, and faithfully proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed. Jessica is newly engaged to Paul, and together they have five sons! Their personal time is filled with gardening, reading, and binging shows!
