Atlantic Highlands Navesink UMC is looking for an Audio and Visual Coordinator to oversee and lead all audio, visual, streaming, and podcast systems during regular and special worship services.
Audio/Visual Coordinator
Role and Responsibilities:
This position is under the general supervision of the clergy and is responsible for the oversight, direction and function of all audio, video and streaming systems. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Running the Facebook Live stream and cameras during worship
- Run the PowerPoint Presentation during the worship service
- Manage soundboard and microphones during the worship service
- Record, edit and publish all Podcasts for the church
Requirements:
- Participate in all special services (Live Nativity, Blue Christmas, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday)
- Working knowledge of AV Production
- Knowledge of PTZ camera
- Operation of Video switches
- Knowledge of Livestreaming operations
- Knowledge of Powerpoint proficiency
- Must arrive to church at least 45 minutes prior to service
- Must be available to attend meetings with staff
- Must upload each service to web prior to leaving that service – YouTube
- Basics of Audio Recording/Editing
- Must give minimum of 2 weeks notice for time off along with the name of person who will be filling in
Compensation:
- $15 per hour up to 5 hours per week. For weeks with special services this time may be extended at the discretion of the Pastor and SPRC Chair.
- Given first right of refusal for all weddings and funerals for added compensation.
