Several of your colleagues have inquired about the GNJ Leadership’s recommendation for congregations not to charter scouting troops but for the local scouting council charter the group and the congregation provide a lease/ongoing use agreement. We thought it would be best to offer the opportunity for churches that have scouting programs for the pastor and/or a representative from the congregation to participate in an information session so that we can provide further information and respond to your questions. It will be held for you and/or a representative from your congregation on Wednesday, July 14 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
