The GNJ staff team is strengthening our mission in our Connectional Ministries team to better serve our congregations. Ashley Wilson has been promoted to Director of Mission, a position which has been vacant for the last year. In this role, Ashley will deepen our calling to mission and work with church leaders to increase the number of people in GNJ engaged in hands on mission in their community. Ashley, who has a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology, has been serving with the Connectional Ministries team for the last two years and has led many of our mission initiatives including the Tanzanian Pastor School. Ashley can be reached at awilson@gnjumc.org or 732-359-1043.
The Director of New Disciples, Trey Wince, will be moving to half-time for one year as he explores a career in consulting. Trey will continue to lead our ministry with new faith communities, resource development and training. He can be reached at twince@gnjumc.org or 732-359-1046.
Juel Nelson, Director of Leadership Development, is pursuing a Doctorate in Education in leadership and innovation from New York University. Her time and role with GNJ will not change. In GNJ, we seek to support people pursuing their calling and exploring purpose and meaning through their work. We encourage our clergy and church leaders to do the same. Please join us in congratulating these key Connectional Ministries team members in their new roles.
