It is with mixed emotions that I share John Cardillo announced his retirement to the Council on Finance and Administration last night. John began working with GNJ in 2006 and has served faithfully helping GNJ accomplish a healthy financial position, undertaking relief and recovery projects following Superstorm Sandy, assisting to establish our nonprofit mission partners and leading with experience and wisdom our finance, benefits and administration team.
John will work through June 30, 2020 and offered assistance in the transition before and after June 30. Congratulations John and thank you for all you have done to make GNJ the healthy conference it is. You will be missed.
The Council on Finance and Administration has asked that a search begin immediately for a new treasurer so that there is a seamless transition. We will keep you up to date as we proceed. An announcement will go out in the Digest Wednesday evening about John’s retirement.
I invite you to congratulate John on his retirement.
Keep the faith!
John
